The person behind the pins
Hi, I’m Samantha, a seamstress and maker based in Bozeman, Montana. I’ve been creating since I was a little girl, learning how to make doll clothes with my great grandmother. I received formal training from the University of Delaware, studying Apparel Design.
Since moving to Bozeman five years ago, I have combined my love for thrifting and sewing by upcycling vintage textiles into one of a kind pieces. After 5 years in the apparel industry coordinating production in factories overseas, I am ready to work with my hands again.
"Remember who you are, where you come from, and who you represent."
What I do
Hems, taking in or letting out seams, adjusting sleeves, resizing waistbands — if it doesn't fit right, I'll make it fit perfectly.
Worn seams, broken zippers, moth holes, missing buttons. I lovingly restore your favorite pieces so they can be worn and cherished for years to come.
From fittings and alterations to adapting a family heirloom into something beautifully borrowed — I will ensure you have the one of a kind dress for your special day.
Transform something old into something new. Reimagine a vintage find, reconstruct a dated silhouette, or give a cherished piece a completely fresh look.
The work
A curated selection of garments made from secondhand textiles. Each piece has its own story.
How it works
Send a message, share some photos, and tell me what you have in mind. We'll set up a time to chat.
We meet in person or virtually to go over the details — measurements, fabric, timeline, and budget.
I get to work. You'll receive updates along the way, and we'll do a fitting to ensure everything is right.
Your finished piece is ready for collection. Wear it with joy — it was made just for you.
